A leading moving services company is seeking a Customer Services Representative to manage local, domestic, and international moving services. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills in English and Japanese and will be based in Tokyo.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day tasks across moving, household goods, and relocation operations for a portfolio of clients.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, retaining and developing relationships.
  • Coordinate with vendors, including moving and freight forwarding subcontractors.
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations, handle job confirmations, and instruct clients on document requirements.
  • Utilize online systems for job initiations, coordination, billing, and data input.
  • Issue job instructions to subcontractors and ensure compliance.
  • Contact clients on moving days to ensure smooth operations.
  • Prepare and issue invoices within 5 days of service for moving, household goods and relocation services.
  • Assist with protection coverage claims and payment collection.
  • Liaise with intercompany colleagues and agents for seamless client transitions.
  • Propose improvements to existing systems and procedures.
  • Provide regular reports to the General Manager.


Requirements:

  • Experience in moving, logistics, household goods logistics, relocation or freight forwarding.
  • College degree or higher.
  • Teamwork-oriented with a flexible and persistent attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Japanese.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
