Our client is a fast-growing consulting firm specialising in the legal, tax and global employer of records sector. They are committed to providing clients with accurate and up-to-date legal information, focusing on immigration and tax law.

They are looking to hire a diligent and detail-oriented Legal Research Business Analyst to join their London-based team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for validating, reviewing, and compiling content and data. This role involves regularly monitoring government websites for updates on immigration and tax laws and creating content guides.

The Legal Research Business Analyst will also conduct comprehensive research projects on various laws and legislations, collaborating closely with the Product Manager to share critical information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Validate and review legal content to ensure accuracy and compliance with current laws.
  • Regularly monitor and analyse updates on government websites regarding immigration law and tax law.
  • Create and maintain content guides, ensuring the information is factual and up-to-date.
  • Conduct in-depth research projects on law and legislation to support the organisation’s knowledge base.
  • Collaborate with the Product Manager to communicate findings and provide insights for product development.
  • Maintain an organised and up-to-date database of research findings and legal documents.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations on research outcomes.
  • Stay informed on legal trends and developments to ensure the company’s content remains relevant and accurate.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2 years proven experience in experience working as a Legal Researcher/BA/legal researcher and content validation or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of immigration law and tax law.
  • Excellent research and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in using online research tools and databases.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
