Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing daily HHG moving operations for local and interstate relocations
- Managing dispatch for drivers and crews, ensuring optimal routing and efficiency
- Supervising packing, loading, transport, and delivery processes
- Coordinating warehouse operations and HHG inventory control
- Enforcing DOT, FMCSA, and company safety compliance
- Communicating with customers to resolve service issues and ensure satisfaction
- Tracking fleet maintenance and scheduling vehicle inspections
- Implementing process improvements to streamline HHG logistics
- Training and coaching crews on best practices and customer service
- Working closely with customer service and sales teams to coordinate job details
- Managing labor needs and coordinating temp staffing as needed
- Generating reports and analyzing KPIs for operational performance
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in household goods (HHG) moving operations
- Strong background in dispatching and crew supervision
- Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and safety compliance
- Ability to manage high-volume scheduling and tight timelines
- Experience in warehouse and fleet operations
- Strong communication and leadership skills
