Alchemy has partnered with a dynamic moving and relocation firm headquartered in Massachusetts. They are actively searching for an accomplished Moving Sales Director to enhance their expanding team.

This role puts you at the forefront of Sales, Customer Service, and Marketing efforts. You'll play a crucial part in bolstering the sales and customer service divisions, crafting innovative strategies, and driving company revenue to new heights.

Responsibilities of the Moving Sales Director include, but are not limited to:
  • Lead and mentor a team of sales and customer service specialists, fostering their professional growth through training and guidance.
  • Collaborate in the development and implementation of proactive plans and strategies to amplify the marketing and sales teams' effectiveness in acquiring new business and broadening market reach.
  • Supervise the customer service team to ensure exceptional service delivery across all customer touchpoints.
  • Utilize data and analytics to drive informed decisions aimed at enhancing performance and optimizing company policies and procedures.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and van-line partners to support operational synergy and service excellence.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for innovation and market differentiation.
  • Develop and manage the departmental budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to achieve strategic goals.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management on sales performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the sales and customer service functions to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Skills & Experience:
  • Proven track record of successfully managing sales and customer care teams within the moving and relocation industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Expertise in developing and implementing innovative marketing strategies.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changes.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
