Alchemy is partnering with an established and successful Fine Art Shipping and Logistics organisation in London and supporting them in their search for a Road Freight Coordinator.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently organise European truck trips and manage export/import formalities.
- Assist in enhancing staffing and operational standards for storage and transport.
- Lead training sessions and operations meetings to optimise workflow.
- Manage shipments meticulously, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
- Collaborate closely with EU Road freight and Transport Managers for compliance and safety.
- Handle client communication, quotations, and invoicing effectively.
- Stay updated on customs legislation and ensure staff compliance.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in road freight coordination, especially in fine art logistics.
- Strong understanding of transportation regulations and fine art handling.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Prior logistics coordination experience, preferably in fine art or high-value goods.
- Knowledge of packing techniques specific to fine art.
- Familiarity with logistics software for tracking shipments.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
