We are partnering with a Freight Forwarding company seeking a Sales Manager to join their team focusing on developing Air and Sea Freight business ideally located in Mid West/East USA.
This is a commission-only position.
Responsibilities;
- Demonstrating an in-depth understanding of air and sea freight processes, regulations, and documentation requirements.
- Leveraging extensive knowledge of the air and ocean freight market to engage effectively with clients.
- Establishing and nurturing relationships with potential and existing clients, with a specific emphasis on air and sea freight
- Crafting compelling sales proposals tailored to clients' air and sea freight needs.
- Conducting thorough competitive analysis to understand competitors' air and sea freight offerings and strategies.
- Maintaining constant awareness of developments in the air and sea freight industry, including new routes, technologies, and regulations.
- Resolving daily operational challenges related to air and sea freight shipments promptly and efficiently.
- Maintaining regular communication with customers, vendors, and overseas offices to ensure smooth air and sea freight operations.
- Identifying opportunities for margin enhancement through strategic pricing strategies specifically tailored to air and sea freight services.
- Implementing sales strategies and plans focused on maximizing air and sea freight revenue and profitability.
