This role will facilitate efficient international trade operations through data analysis and compliance.
Job responsibilities:
- Employ Trade Applications & Software for the analysis of import and/or export data, generating transactional documentation, crafting KPI reports, and determining FTA Qualification applicability.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including the company's colleagues, clients, brokers, governmental authorities, freight forwarders, carriers, and regulatory bodies.
- Deliver desk-side training to internal participants and contribute to the development and enhancement of processes.
- Support the Manager in overseeing and managing daily workflows.
- Adhere to established policies and procedures while responding to inquiries from customers, brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, and customs.
- Monitor and comply with changing priorities set by Clients, customs, regulatory bodies, and management.
Skills Required:
- At least 3 years of experience in Customs / Logistics. Ideally within the Automotive industry.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly MS Word and MS Excel.
- Developed expertise in at least one of the following areas:
- Import/export filing, Post Entry
- Customs and Foreign Trade Law
- Freight & Export Operations
- Customs Audit Support
