Alchemy is partnering with an established aerospace and defense organization seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to join their team in Milwaukee, WI on a hybrid basis.
Reporting into the Supply Chain Manager, this role will oversee the sourcing and procurement of components, negotiating pricing and ensuring timely delivery.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers, managing day-to-day business execution and relationship building.
- Source and issue vendor purchase orders in alignment with customer requirements.
- Track purchase order delivery status and expedite when needed to ensure timely fulfillment.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to optimize value.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of procurement-related data.
- Monitor supplier performance, provide feedback, and collaborate on corrective action plans where necessary.
- Contribute to and support Strategic Business Reviews with suppliers.
- Partner closely with customer service, sales, and strategic alliance teams to align supply activities with customer demand.
- Analyze demand trends and recommend proactive or strategic purchasing opportunities.
- Identify, recommend, and lead process improvements to enhance efficiency and overall supply chain effectiveness.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree and/or 1–3 years of relevant experience in supply chain, procurement, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience working with ERP systems.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
