We are seeking a Government Services Move/Relocation Coordinator on behalf of a leading moving and relocation company in Washington, DC. This role is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with experience in coordinating government relocations, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and managing complex move logistics.

The ideal candidate will have experience in government moving services, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple relocation projects efficiently. This role requires a proactive individual who can coordinate with government agencies, ensure seamless service delivery, and maintain compliance with all required regulations and guidelines.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate government moves, ensuring all relocations comply with federal guidelines and contractual requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for government agencies, employees, and contractors throughout the relocation process.
  • Develop detailed move plans, including scheduling, logistics coordination, and budgeting.
  • Work closely with transportation teams, warehouse personnel, and third-party vendors to ensure smooth execution.
  • Monitor and track shipments, providing updates to government clients and resolving any logistical challenges.
  • Ensure all documentation, billing, and reporting meet government contract requirements.
  • Maintain strong relationships with government agencies, understanding their specific relocation policies and needs.
  • Address and resolve any service issues, claims, or disputes in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay updated on government regulations, contract changes, and industry best practices.
  • Support business development efforts by assisting with proposals and bids for new government contracts.

Requirements:
  • Experience in move coordination, relocation services, or logistics, preferably within government contracts.
  • Knowledge of government relocation policies, GSA guidelines, and federal contracting regulations.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple moves simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills for interacting with government agencies and personnel.
  • Proficiency in move management software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle complex logistical challenges.
