Inside Moving Sales Consultant & RFP Coordinator – New York, NY

We are seeking a creative and experienced Inside Moving Sales Consultant & RFP Coordinator for a leading New York-based moving and relocation company. This position provides a unique opportunity for a determined professional to create success in the moving and relocation industry by combining sales experience with RFP coordinating.
The ideal applicant will have a solid background in inside sales and expertise working with requests for proposals (RFPs). This position demands a proactive approach to company development and client connection, as well as excellent communication skills and precise attention to detail.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Respond to incoming sales questions properly and offer specialized solutions to potential consumers.
  • Create and implement sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue goals.
  • Draft, manage, and present accurate and complete RFPs to corporate clients.
  • Collaborate with logistics and operations departments to ensure that client needs and service capabilities are aligned.
  • Develop and maintain good connections with corporate clients to encourage recommendations and repeat business.
  • Keep up with market trends, competitive actions, and client expectations.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop engaging presentations and sales collateral.
  • Prepare performance reviews and sales reports for upper management.
  • Comply with contractual requirements, industry rules, and business policies.
  • Follow up with prospective clients to sustain engagement and close deals.
  • Identify areas for process improvement to increase sales and RFP efficiency.
  • Support ad hoc duties as needed to ensure overall business performance.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven internal sales experience in the moving and relocation sector.
  • A thorough understanding of document creation and the RFP process.
  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline is preferable.
