Key Responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day operations of local and long-distance removals
- Coordinating logistics, transport scheduling, and route planning
- Overseeing warehouse and inventory management
- Leading, training, and motivating operational staff and drivers
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety and transportation regulations
- Monitoring performance KPIs and implementing process improvements
- Liaising with clients to ensure service expectations are met or exceeded
- Managing fleet maintenance and vehicle records
- Conducting site visits and risk assessments before moves
- Handling escalations and resolving operational challenges
- Supporting budgeting and cost-control initiatives
- Collaborating with sales and customer service teams for seamless execution
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in the moving/removals or relocation industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Understanding of transportation and logistics best practices
- Knowledge of UK driving regulations and fleet operations
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
