We are working with a Global HR Services Company on a Finance & Compliance Manager role based in Shanghai.
They need someone to be the go-to expert on China financial compliance, billing, Fapiao requirements, documentation for a high-growth business.
In this role reviewing and maintaining financial records, advising clients on regional billing and compliance during implementations and sales conversations, and working closely with local accounting partners to keep payments and documentation accurate. There's also a treasury element reconciliation, regulatory compliance, and helping build out China treasury processes as the business grows.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Chinese citizenship (required)
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 2-3 years each in accounting, audit, financial analysis, and client payment processing
- 2-3 years client-facing experience, including with senior executives
- 2-3 years in the relocation industry
- 4-5 years' knowledge of China's regulatory environment
- 4-5 years' experience with VAT and Fapiao requirements
- Native Mandarin speaker, business-level English
