Alchemy Global Talent Solutions is working with a highly prestigious Real Estate firm in the hire for an experienced Quantity Surveying professional. This role will play a huge part in ensuring financial efficiency, cost control, and value optimisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the quantity surveying and cost management function across multiple real estate projects.
- Develop and implement cost strategies, budgets, and financial controls.
- Oversee cost planning, estimation, benchmarking, and value engineering.
- Manage procurement strategies and contractor negotiations.
- Monitor project costs, cash flow, and financial performance.
- Review and manage contracts, variations, and claims.
- Collaborate closely with design, development, and construction.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing quantity surveying team.
Key Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in quantity surveying or cost management within real estate or construction.
- Proven experience managing large-scale development projects with significant project values.
- Strong expertise in cost planning, procurement, contract administration, and commercial management.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and market cost benchmarks.
- Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and financial management skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Professional membership (e.g., MRICS or equivalent) is highly preferred.
