Key Responsibilities:
- Sell international freight forwarding services, with a strong emphasis on import flows from the Far East and Southeast Asia (air and ocean)
- Develop new business opportunities through targeted outreach, networking, and strategic prospecting
- Lead commercial negotiations, including pricing, tenders, and margin optimisation to maximise profitability
- Collaborate closely with operations and senior leadership to ensure seamless service delivery and high client satisfaction
- Provide consultative, solution-led support to clients across complex global logistics requirements
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline and consistently achieve or exceed revenue and gross profit targets
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in international air and ocean freight forwarding sales
- Demonstrated success in developing business across Far East / Southeast Asia import markets
- An active, transferable portfolio of client relationships is highly desirable
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing, quoting, and profitability management
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales pipeline management
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to operate independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
