Account Manager

Job Description

An exciting opportunity to join an expanding Art Shipping company has become available in Los Angeles. Our client is seeking an experienced Account Manager.

This individual will coordinate large scale logistical projects as well as developing key client accounts.

Main responsibilities:
  • Managing shipments from start to finish, ensuring that the customers’ requirements are met at all times
  • Increase repeat business and develop new key client accounts
  • Produce the documentation for all internal/outward shipments throughout the whole process
  • Comply with all company and logistical policies and procedures
  • Schedule all jobs in a timely manner, as well as the collection, packaging, and shipping processes
  • Ensure that all accounts are up to date and scheduled to be as cost-effectively as possible without affecting customer satisfaction
  • Setting up customer accounts, issuing bills of lading, and producing invoices
  • Assisting with department calls in a timely and professional manner
Skills and attributes:
  • Previous experience working within the art logistics industry
  • Develop and maintain client relationships within the art industry, including Galleries, Auction Houses and other organisations
  • Coordinate shipments cost efficiently and in a timely manner
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to resolve client concerns
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple accounts at once
  • Microsoft Office and internal computer systems knowledge
  • Excellent customer service skills are essential
