Billing Specialist

Job Description

We are working with a Moving & Logistics company seeking a Billing Specialist to join their team in Seattle, WA.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals

  • Handling the billing processes

  • Preparing statutory accounts

  • Calculating and checking to make sure payments, amounts and records are correct

  • Sorting out incoming and outgoing daily post and answering any queries

  • Managing petty cash transactions

  • Controlling credit and chasing debt

  • Reconciling finance accounts and direct debit

  • Chasing late payments from clients

  • Paying carriers

  • Preparing invoices

Requirements:

  • Accounting experience

  • Experience handling company accounts

  • Excellent Microsoft office skills

  • Confident chasing payments

  • Experience preparing invoices
