Director, Sales and Operations

Job Description

We are partnering with a leading global Corporate Housing provider in their search for an experienced Director, Sales and Operations.

The Director, Sales and Operations will be responsible for leading and developing the operations and sales functions within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities to sell the company’s corporate housing services and increase revenue
  • Ensure staff are delivering high levels of customer service
  • Build strong relationships with clients
  • Consistently monitor competitors in the Corporate Housing market and create ideas to be ahead of the competition
  • Manage the interview and hiring process, selecting talent for the business
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and implement changes in the business
  • Regularly network with new and existing clients through meetings and attending industry events
  • Work alongside the sales team to ensure targets are achieved
  • Manage guest services, ensuring all issues are responded to in a timely manner, and act as point of escalation when required
  • Mentor and develop staff, provide training across various departments as required
  • Create marketing plans and regularly review to meet business goals
  • Actively participate in the RFP and presentation process in partnership with the sales team

Key Requirements:

  • Extensive Sales, Business Development & Account Management experience
  • Must have extensive leadership experience, ability to manage, train and support the development of staff
  • Strong client facing and presentation skills
  • Experience working for a Corporate Housing, RMC, TMB or Relocation Services provider
  • Proven track record of achieving Sales/ Business Development targets
  • Prior experience to create and manage budgets
