A removals company based in North Birmingham, West Midlands is seeking an experienced General Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity offering a competitive salary within the Removals Industry.

Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Management of the day to day removals, sales and operations.
  • Liaising with the finance department regularly, maintaining a good awareness of the profitability of company operations.
  • Assisting with business development, actively seeking opportunities to attract new removals clients and building upon existing client relationships.
  • Acting as a point of contact for HR queries for team members
  • Working closely alongside directors to seek opportunities to expand the business and grow revenue.

The ideal candidate will:

  • To lead and manage a highly motivated Removals team across all activities including sales, co-ordination, case management, operations, full Removals process and administration as well as inspire the sales team to win new business
  • Previous experience working within the Removals Industry and Operations is essential
  • Excellent knowledge of office administration, finance management and HR
  • To deliver a financial performance each year which achieves and exceeds revenue, margin, and profit budgets and to continually improve in all areas of customer service, efficiency and quality.
