Head of Digital Marketing

Job Description

Alchemy is currently working with an established and expanding art organisation, who are looking for an experienced professional to join them as a Head of Digital Marketing!

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and generate material for the gallery’s social media platforms
  • Collaborating with the Digital Media team to review the increase in followers and activity
  • Assist with editorial schedule, including online exhibitions and announcements
  • Be responsible for the WeChat channel and dealing with freelance workers on timely schedule
  • Online exhibitions and website modifications will be managed by collaborating with the sales and Digital teams ensuring artist pages are up to date
  • Organising media content for social media pages as well as the company’s website
  • Track and report website, social media and email analytics
  • Collaborate the Global Director with advertising strategies such as marketing banners, social media content etc
  • Monitor costs and ensure images/art installation is up to standard
  • Design and produce advertising materials such as booklets, brochures etc
  • Create exhibition elements including outdoor advertising, wall vinyl, and art labels
  • Maintain image archives and distribute through the database

Key skills and requirements:

  • Educational background in Fine Art/design/marketing or communication
  • Professional experience within a fine art industry including Galleries, Museums Auction Houses and Art Advisories
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage content across multiple departments
  • Knowledge of software such as MacOSX and Google Suite, Adobe, Photoshop, Premier Pro, InDesign and capable of digital photography
  • Proven knowledge of Mailchimp, CSS and HTML
  • Excel/Google Sheets proficiency
  • Excellent practise within SEO, email marketing and web accessibility
  • Awareness in trends in mobile apps and website technology
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Experience in an international company is advantageous but not essential
