We are partnering with a leading Shipping organisation seeking an Import Coordinator to join the logistics team in New York.

The successful candidate will have held a role within an Import/Logistics position handling import shipments from start to finish.

Role responsibilities of the Import Coordinator:

  • Overseeing all import operations for the business
  • Ensuring compliance with all customs regulations
  • Completing import documentation
  • Handling import shipments from start to finish
  • Building up effective relationships with external providers
  • Negotiating with subcontractors

Skills Required;

  • Experience handling Import shipments from start to finish
  • CargoWise experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to effectively develop solutions to problems
  • Knowledge of shipping operations
