International Move Coordinator - US Remote Based

We are representing a leading Moving and Relocation company who are looking for an International Move Coordinator to join their busy team based remotely.

This role requires previous experience managing international household goods moves from start to finish, serving as a point of contact for the client.

The International Move Coordinator will develop relationships with existing clients, proactively managing their international moving needs.

Responsibilities:
  • This role is accountable for the full delivery of moving and relocation services including; presenting quotations, booking third party shipping vendors, confirming schedules and retaining contact.
  • Managing, and being accountable for a caseload of household goods moving services for commercial clients.
  • Developing relationships with our clients, the moving assignees and external moving parties.
  • Coordinating and managing third party partners; reserving, booking and auditing moving services provided by the partners.
  • Monitoring and understanding the process and procedures of import shipments of household goods.
  • Completing relevant moving documentation.
  • Preparing reports for clients and colleagues.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in the moving and relocation industry dealing with International moves
  • Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written.
  • A brilliant understanding of geography and cultures.
  • Outstanding organisational skills, experience managing multiple projects.
  • Ability to work proactively and independently.
  • A keen eye for detail and commercial awareness.
  • A positive, team focused, ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • The ability to manage and resolve conflicts or high-pressure situations.
