Logistics Coordinator

Job Description

A new and exciting opportunity is now available for a Logistics Coordinator to work for our client a Global Logistics and shipping company based in Aberdeen.

This position offers hybrid working with 2 days remote and 3 based in the office.


  • Liaising with suppliers on Air Freight, Sea Freight and Road Freight
  • Responsible for client enquiries
  • Handling the movement of goods
  • Following up on client quotes
  • Coordinating with customers
  • Complete and accurate shipping documentation
  • Checking Customs Clearance entries in accordance with HMRC regulations, client requests, and company policies
  • Airline cargo security
  • Ensure that task files and estimates are accurate


  • International logistics experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Flexible working methods
  • Team member
  • Strong communicator both orally and in writing (good English, written and spoken)
  • Good knowledge of Incoterms
  • Understand HMRC export and import regulations
  • Understand both normal and off-gauge transport techniques
