Marketing Manager

Job Description

A London based art organisation are seeking a new Marketing Manager to join their growing Digital Marketing team!

This individual will have an integral part in developing their email marketing strategies and contributing to the success of the Digital Marketing department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce and execute email marketing campaigns to increase communication success
  • Prepare client email lists in collaboration with the Marketing and Business Development team
  • Manage the routing of email creative and assets, the aggregation of feedback, and the approval procedure for campaigns
  • Incorporate relevant materials, calls to action, tracking codes, and landing page click-throughs to align campaign objectives
  • Follow and monitor all campaigns in MailChimp, and report KPIs and other significant results by various segments, including as open rates, click-through rates, and opt-out rates
  • Enable copyright clearances for campaign imagery and visual marketing
  • Maintain planning and schedules for email marketing, progress papers and other reports
  • Assist the Digital Marketing Manager with cross-channel marketing activities
  • Carry out ad-hoc tasks as required

Skills Required:

  • Creating email campaigns and/or other digital marketing strategies
  • Being familiar with the art world is beneficial but not essential
  • Strong copywriting skills and an understanding of current email marketing practises and trends are required
  • Microsoft Office Suite, MailChimp or another email service provider (ESP)
  • SQL and HTML markup knowledge is advantageous
  • Strong verbal and writing communication abilities
  • Excellent time management abilities, as well as the ability to prioritise and operate under pressure to fulfil several deadlines
  • Experience with web analytics would be beneficial
