Operations Manager

Our client, a moving specialist based in Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced Moving Dispatcher/ Operations Manager to join their team.

The Moving Dispatcher/ Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing Moving & Relocation operations and crew, including scheduling, dispatching, and monitoring daily work assignments.

Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with the warehouse team to plan for daily operational activities.
  • Work with customers through issues, complaints, and payments.
  • Assist with long haul and local operations in peak period.
  • Quality control.
  • Driver recruitment.
  • Supervise warehouse maintenance and repairs.
  • Visiting job sites to make sure all is going as should.
  • Keep trucks and staff in compliance with all DOT, OSHA, UTC, and company policies and/or regulations.

Requirements:
  • At least 3 years or more of management experience.
  • Ideally 2 years of experience dispatching within the moving & relocation services sector
  • Strong man-management skills
  • Highly organised
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Solid IT skills
  • Valid driving license
