Regional Credit Controller

Job Description

Alchemy has a great opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to join a global relocation company in Singapore as a Regional Credit Controller.

This is a one-year contract position, and you will be reported to Finance Director. With an opportunity to convert to permanent role.

Responsibilities but not limited to :

  • Responding to client inquiries promptly and proactively while upholding high standards of customer service.
  • Take part in creating and carrying out the region's long-term strategic strategy.
  • Work closely with the Regional Management team, Finance Directors, Group Finance team, and Shared Service Centre to monitor and accomplish the KPIs for the regional daily credit control operations.
  • Supporting management by providing a credit control KPI.
  • Ensure that each problem is properly analysed and provide an action plan to the Finance Director South Asia/CFO APAC/Regional Management team.
  • Managing client accounts, including maintaining accounts, keeping track of credit terms and restrictions, and reviewing orders that are on hold.
  • Organize, design, and oversee the execution of important corporate and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Good communication with the business teams, ensuring that any questions about credit are properly addressed.
  • Ensure data integrity across many systems.
  • Knowledge of export credit control to offer protection when necessary.
  • Additional responsibilities as occasionally and fairly requested.


Requirements but not limited to:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or similar discipline is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in credit control / collection experience with at least 3 years’ experience in managerial level.
  • Microsoft Office skills required, as well as Sun/Oracle/Exact.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Confident in communicating effectively at all levels to ensure that customer requirements are met.
  • Able to plan and manage their own workload and use initiative.
  • Able to work well under pressure.
  • Strong English written and oral communication skills.
