Relocation Consultant

Our client, a global provider of Relocation Services is looking for a Relocation Consultant to join their team in London, UK.

The Relocation Consultant will be responsible for delivering Global assignment services to clients, employees, and their families. You will be tasked to ensure the smooth transition of the assignee and their family to their new location, you will do this by being the single point of contact and provide ongoing support for as long as required.

Relocation Consultant Key Duties:

  • Manage all activities and services related to the transfer process
  • Carry out pre-assignment briefs and orientations
  • Advice the assignees on policies and compensation details where applicable
  • Produce cost projections and calculate assignment compensation
  • Manage all payments relating to the assignment, including payroll, expense, and invoices
  • Update and manage the internal CRM database as required
  • Authorize request exceptions for client policies during the whole process of the relocation
  • Prepare monthly reports for clients, utilising international supplier information
  • Initiate assignee surveys

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred
  • Fluency in French Language
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Technical proficiency in IT applications such as Microsoft programmes
  • Key attention to detail and numeracy skills
  • Sense of compassion and a sensitivity to the needs of assignees and their families
  • Basic understanding of Immigration, assignment package preparation, assignee transfer process, international payroll & allowance calculations
  • Ability to work well within a multicultural team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong administration skills
