Relocation Team Trainer

Job Description

Our client, a Relocation specialist is looking for a Relocation Team Trainer to join their team in Australia.  The aim of this role is to reduce the time it takes new employees to become fully functional within their role, as well as helping to improve the onboarding process for new employees

This role would suit someone with previous training experience within the Relocation or Mobility sector, or perhaps a Senior Relocation Consultant, or Relocation Team Leader with previous mentoring and training experience, who is looking to for something slightly different within the Relocation industry. 

Relocation Team Trainer Key Duties:
  • Responsible for assisting the Operations team with onboarding, training, and contributing to increased efficiency
  • Ensuring all relocation team members are able to provide a consistent client experience & maintain data integrity
  • Focusing on getting the consultants up to speed as quickly as possible, to reduce the time it takes a consultant to become fully functional in their new role
  • Carrying out additional training for existing staff members when required as well as new starters
  • Creating training material & process manuals whenever required
  • Using initiative and identify key areas of additional relevant training 
  • Educating existing team members on new training methods, educational opportunities etc.
  • Assisting with supplier materials and training
  • Continuously assess performance across teams and implement process or training improvements to address themes of missed opportunities or service delivery failures
  • Identifying areas for process improvements and answer questions as they arise

Skills and Experience: 
  • High School diploma is required, bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred
  • Ability to recognise possible problems and develop effective solutions without immediate guidance or supervision 
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Relocation Operations essential
  • Australia Domestic, Global Operations, and Immigration experience desirable
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and work in a fast-paced setting
  • Working knowledge of operating systems (Servicengine & AMOS/SMARTS) as well as the Microsoft Windows tool suite, particularly Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders
  • Ability to motivate and keep big groups of people accountable is required
  • Excellent analytical and reporting abilities
