Sales Leader, Business Development (Remote) Corporate Housing

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Sales Leadership professional to join a global Corporate Housing service provider.

This position will be responsible for defining the business Sales Strategy, Leading and Managing the Sales division as well as direct Selling to secure new business revenue.

This position offers can be worked remotely from any US location.

Purpose and Scope of Role:

Sales strategy: 30%
Sales team leadership: 50%
Direct selling: 20%

  • To successfully create and implement a winning sales strategy for the business
  • To lead, manage, mentor and coach the Sales and Business Development team to ensure performance and results
  • To identify new business opportunities and develop these into new client business

What the Sales Leader role involves:

  • Define a successful sales and business development strategy and ensure the department works in line with the overall company strategy and vision
  • Implement the sales strategy and ensure collaboration across sales, marketing, and business development to meet initiatives
  • Ensure a consultative sales strategy is adopted and create client-focused solutions
  • Manage the sales and business development team, ensuring consistency in results and performance
  • Inspire the sales team to go above and beyond in sales efforts to always aim to exceed goals and metrics
  • Train and coach, the Sales department on technical skills to hunt and win new business
  • Set sales targets and deliver sales forecasting to executive leadership
  • Track sales progress and deliver weekly and monthly sales reporting
  • Closely monitor the performance of the sales team
  • Ensure the team promote unique selling points of the business
  • Stay up to date on market trends and communicate knowledge across the business to ensure sales goals and achieved and exceeded
  • Develop a pipeline of new business through cold calling, networking and other sales and business development techniques

Experience working in the Corporate Housing sector is not essential but would be advantageous. Previous work experience in a service-related sector or similar industry such as Transport, Hospitality, Logistics, HR, or Relocation is preferred but not required.
