Sales Manager

Alchemy are partnering with a domestic and commercial removal company, supporting them with their search for a Sales Manager to join the team based remotely.

The company arranges local and international removals for domestic and commercial clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for UK & International sales with opportunity to develop into a Head of Sales position
  • Performing video surveys, working on pictures and video materials to assess the volume and plan the relocation according to customer’s needs and industry standards 
  • Develop sales level, quality and quantity of sales within the company
  • Dealing with customs regulations, transit modes and time frames
  • Generating sales from leads by obtaining move information & requirements from prospective clients
  • Following up on sales estimates
  • Liaising with clients to arrange pre-move surveys
  • Maintaining relationships with clients, providing high levels of customer services at all times
  • Produce national and international moves quotations by calculating volumes, quotes, and exchange rates
  • Responding to client queries and complaints and identifying areas in need of improvement

Requirements:
  • Experience working within the household goods removals industry is desirable
  • At least 3 years experience in a sales position is required
  • Proven track record of successful B2C sales
  • A positive and personable attitude with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent client and customer relationship skills with the ability to liaise confidently with clients
  • Strong IT and MS Office experience using Outlook, Word, and Excel
