Commercial Project Manager – Minneapolis, MN

Alchemy Global Talent Solutions is working with a reputable firm in the Minneapolis area to locate a qualified Project Manager to join their team. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional seeking to manage significant projects while increasing efficiency and profitability.
As a Project Manager, the successful candidate will manage and oversee all parts of assigned projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, under budget, and in line with business objectives. The ideal candidate will be well-organized, communicative, and dedicated to providing superior project results.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Examine project proposals to establish deadlines, budgets, and resource distribution.
  • Create, improve, and enforce adherence to project plans and scopes of work.
  • Create and deliver thorough project reports with Total Trak and other tools.
  • Direct and coordinate contractor activities to ensure that projects progress in accordance with schedules and budgets.
  • Manage the billing and payment processes, including vendor invoice approval.
  • Determine and handle scope changes by issuing change orders or contract addenda as needed.
  • Maintain regular communication with contractors to ensure timely updates and documentation.
  • Work with internal teams to handle contractor issues and project hurdles.
  • Conduct project evaluations, such as claims reviews and customer satisfaction surveys.
  • Supervise team members as needed to ensure tasks are completed to standard.
  • Implement risk management measures to help prevent project delays or cost overruns.
  • Stay current on industry best practices and incorporate them into project execution tactics.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or a comparable combination of education and applicable experience.
  • Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project are all Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle several jobs in a fast-paced setting.
  • Industry experience is preferable, but not needed.
