Responsibilities of the Moving Sales Representative:
  • Prospect and produce leads in the commercial sector using cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Conduct extensive needs assessments with prospective customers to better understand their shifting needs and preferences.
  • Prepare and deliver competitive proposals, bids, and quotations that are suited to the specific requirements of commercial clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to ensure profitable business transactions for the company.
  • Collaborate with the operations and logistics teams to ensure that client relocation and services run smoothly.
  • Keep accurate records of all sales and prospecting activity, such as sales calls, presentations, and concluded deals.
  • Stay up to current on industry trends, market circumstances, and competition activity so that you can alter your strategy and capitalise on possibilities.
  • Attend industry events, trade exhibits, and conferences to network and promote your company's services.
  • Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process, and respond to any client complaints or difficulties as soon as possible.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets established by the firm to contribute to overall revenue goals.

Requirements of the Moving Sales Representative:
  • A minimum of two years' experience in commercial or private sales within the moving industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and objectives.
  • Strong negotiation and closing abilities, with an emphasis on developing long-term customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to work effectively with clients and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise many tasks in a fast-paced setting.
  • Knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
