Alchemy is collaborating with a trusted moving company headquartered in Toronto, which is seeking an experienced Senior Move Coordinator to join their growing team.

As a Senior Move Coordinator, you will be the key liaison, ensuring the company's clients have a successful moving experience while managing your team. 

Responsibilities of the Senior Move Coordinator: 

  • Handle inbound sales inquiries and schedule appointments for the sales team.
  • Manage and resolve escalated customer service issues promptly and effectively.
  • Coordinate VIP moves, ensuring exceptional service and attention to detail.
  • Manage corporate clients long-distance and cross-border moves efficiently.
  • Enhance customer service through staff training, monitoring, and development initiatives.
  • Document improvements and update training manuals accordingly.
  • Prepare Moveware and paper files for local, long-distance, and cross-border relocations as needed.
  • Generate the necessary work orders and delivery orders as necessary.
  • Facilitate deposit collection via credit card processing and preauthorization for all moves.
  • Manage storage-related tasks, including access, collections, and paperwork.
  • Provide advance notification to customers 24-48 hours before crew arrival.
  • Generate purchase orders as needed.
  • Address and resolve claims and other customer service issues efficiently.
  • Develop documentation and flowcharts outlining procedures for moving coordinating departments.
  • Supervise and streamline processes within the Export and Import departments.
  • Offer support to international department staff when necessary.

Requirements of the Senior Move Coordinator: 

  • Prior experience working within the moving and relocation sector.
  • Strong Move Coordination and team leadership experience.
  • Assured when interacting with potential customers.
  • The capacity to respond to agent needs as needed.
  • Excellent communication and organising abilities
  • A high school degree or its equivalent.
