This is a position focused on the coordination of both operations and activities within the company’s warehouse.
Responsibilities of the Warehouse Supervisor include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain the warehouse database and manage the inventory.
- Coordinate the product movements and schedules, including finished product storage and shipments.
- Implement and maintain the daily production and shipment plans.
- Arrange for the storage of any excess stock.
- Modify the storage space assignments to help manage the finished product daily flow.
- Verify inventory records to confirm item availability prior to shipping
- Direction of forklift drivers storing goods, including operating forklift trucks if needed.
- Documentation of all related activities, and completion of all forms and reports.
- Other ad-hoc duties as required.
Skills and Requirements:
- 1-2 years of warehouse experience, including strong policy and procedure understanding.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong organizational skills.
- Adaptability and ability to learn product codes and terminology quickly.
- Must be able to pass a background check and a drug screening.
- At least two years of forklift experience, preferably currently holding a valid forklift certification, including both cherry pickers and standard forklifts
- High school diploma required.
