What You’ll Be Doing:
- Create and implement a commercial company development plan that aligns with the corporate expansion and diversification goals.
- Implement tactical sales plans to achieve specific targets across the commercial sales channel.
- Create and manage the hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and mentoring of a successful commercial sales team.
- Keep track of sales statistics and key performance metrics to ensure the best possible resource allocation and make any necessary strategy revisions.
- Oversee the creation of competitive responses with well-defined value propositions for commercial RFPs.
- Keep up with the newest advancements in the commercial moving and storage sector to ensure that your service offerings remain competitive and relevant.
- Establish marketing priorities and strategies for the commercial sectors, then collaborate with outside specialists to implement them.
- Encourage the efficient tracking and management of sales funnels through CRM technology (preferably HubSpot) and other tools.
- Encourage consistency and adherence to business agreements and contract negotiations throughout all client contacts.
- Work with cross-functional teams to align operational capabilities with business development.
- To increase market exposure, attend significant conferences, industry events, and client meetings.
- Provide the senior management team with commercial growth KPIs and strategic performance updates.
What We’re Looking For:
- 10 or more years of demonstrated sales leadership experience in the business or relocation moving sector.
- Ability to create and lead productive sales teams.
- Strong analytical skills and background in making decisions based on data.
- Competent in managing contracts and negotiating in a business-to-business setting.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, particularly HubSpot, and the Microsoft Office Suite; strong Excel skills are advantageous.
- A bachelor's degree or comparable work experience in business, sales, or a similar discipline.
