Warehouse Manager – Atlanta, GA

Do you have extensive experience in warehouse management within the moving and relocation industry? Our client, a well-established corporation in Atlanta, GA, is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to oversee their warehouse operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to share their experience and have a substantial impact on a developing team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Oversee all warehouse operations to ensure that items are handled and stored efficiently and accurately.
  • Manage and schedule warehouse employees, including hiring, training, and performance assessments.
  • Create and implement warehouse policies and procedures to increase productivity and safety.
  • Ensure that inventory is appropriately tracked and maintained through regular stock audits and updates.
  • Coordinate the loading and unloading of items for both inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Maintain warehouse equipment and arrange routine maintenance to guarantee operational readiness.
  • To avoid damage and increase productivity, ensure that all materials are properly stored, labelled, and organised.
  • Work with the operations and logistics departments to guarantee timely distribution and shipment of items.
  • Monitor warehouse safety practices and verify they are in accordance with health and safety requirements.
  • Analyse workflow and processes and offer modifications to increase productivity and lower costs.
  • Maintain operational standards by ensuring compliance with business rules and industry requirements.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability to improve overall warehouse performance.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager, ideally in the moving and relocation industry.
  • Excellent understanding of warehouse management best practices, inventory control, and logistics.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, as well as experience in employee training and development.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and do minor repairs as required.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities, as well as a sharp eye for detail.
  • Experience with warehouse management software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
