This is a remote opportunity that can be worked from any of the Midwestern States including Illinois; Indiana; Ohio; Michigan; Wisconsin; Missouri; and Texas.
Main Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue growth across global freight forwarding services, including air, ocean, road, import, export, and warehousing solutions
- Manage and expand existing client relationships, leveraging established networks to generate immediate business
- Identify and secure new business opportunities through strategic outreach, networking, and digital prospecting
- Lead commercial negotiations, pricing strategies, and margin optimization to maximize profitability
- Collaborate closely with operations and senior leadership to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction
- Maintain consistent client engagement through virtual and in-person meetings, providing consultative sales support
- Achieve or exceed monthly gross profit and sales targets
- Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience in international air and ocean freight forwarding
- Active, transferable portfolio of client relationships is highly desirable
- Strong commercial acumen with confidence in pricing, quoting, and profitability management
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and modern sales tools for pipeline management and reporting
- Self-motivated, commercially driven, and able to manage priorities independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
