Account Manager

Alchemy is supporting a Los Angeles based Art Shipping company in finding a hands-on Account Manager to join their expanding team!

International shipping experience is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Capable of managing small and large art projects from quotation to delivery
  • Ensure that all accounts are always maintained, and that the shipment is run as cost effectively as possible without jeopardising customer happiness
  • Ensure that all parts of the needs, particularly service specifications, are met in terms of shipping
  • Manage the whole client experience throughout the shipping process, ensuring that client expectations are met
  • To keep track of all internal and external shipments from beginning to end
  • Ensure that inventories and commercial invoicing are compliant with international regulations and standards
  • Setting up customer files, issuing bills of lading, and generating invoices
  • Providing timely and professional assistance with department calls
  • Assist your management whenever possible

Skills and Attributes:

  • Previous experience within a Shipping/Logistics role within the art industry
  • International Shipping experience is essential for this role
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to use intuition to resolve client concerns and complaints
  • Extremely well-organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage many projects
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and internal computer systems
  • Always maintain excellent email etiquette and a professional and respectful telephone demeanour
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and team
