APAC Immigration Specialist

Job Description

An exciting opportunity has become available for an APAC Immigration Specialist to join a global business in Hong Kong. This position is based onsite 5 days per week with a corporate client.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage APAC Immigration processes and procedures alongside the immigration vendor
  • Main point of contact immigration queries across APAC
  • Working closely with the immigration vendor, supporting immigration projects
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on immigration services as well as supporting mobility management and general HR administration
  • Delivering guidance and advice to stakeholders and assignees on APAC immigration matters
  • Monitor immigration vendor service as per SLAs
  • Identify potential risks with regards to immigration and recommend solutions
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and assignees

Main Requirements:

  • Over 5 years APAC Immigration / Global Mobility experience is essential
  • Strong knowledge of APAC visa and immigration processes and procedures
  • Strong project management experience required
  • Knowledgeable on the assignee management and relocations process
  • Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Good stakeholder management experience
  • Ability to work independently as well as partnering with a team
  • Strong IT skills including MS Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
