Art Sales Consultant

Job Description

Alchemy is excited to be working with an established art Gallery in London, who are looking for an experienced art professional to join their busy sales team. Previous experience in sales and a passion for international contemporary art is essential.
 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Developing and sustaining relationships with collectors, artists and artists’ estates.
  • Managing a busy sales pipeline, generating sales.
  • Providing excellent client service.
  • Assisting with fair presentations and in charge of the sales leads at International Art Fairs.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience with art sales at auction or gallery, ideally experience with Art Fairs and International Contemporary Art.
  • Passion for and in-depth knowledge and understanding of the Contemporary Art market.
  • Proven sales track record and ability to work well in a team.
  • Great communication skills and efficient approach to work.
  • Candidates with more experience will be considered for a Director level.
