Alchemy Global Talent are working with a leading Corporate Housing provider to recruit for a Business Development Lead.

This position offers can be worked remotely from any US location.

Responsibilities:

  • To successfully create and implement a winning sales strategy for the business
  • To lead, manage, mentor and coach the Sales and Business Development team to ensure performance and results
  • To identify new business opportunities and develop these into new client business

Requirements:

  • Years of extensive Team Management experience, building, training and managing a successful business development department
  • Proven results working in a direct sales and business development hunter role
  • Excellent people skills with the ability to identify skills and areas of improvement in the sales team
  • Success in developing performance to secure new clients
  • Business-to-business sales experience
  • Strong sales closing skills
  • High energy and motivation

What the Sales Leader role involves:

  • Define a successful sales and business development strategy and ensure the department works in line with the overall company strategy and vision
  • Manage the sales and business development team, ensuring consistency in results and performance
  • Train and coach, the Business Development department on technical skills to hunt and win new business
  • Set sales targets and deliver sales forecasting to executive leadership
  • Closely monitor the performance of the sales team
  • Stay up to date on market trends and communicate knowledge across the business to ensure sales goals and achieved and exceeded
  • Develop a pipeline of new business through cold calling, networking and other sales and business development techniques
