A new and exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Fashion Business Development Manager in New York!

Our client is a market leader in the Fine Art world and is rapidly expanding their business, as well as their team.

They are looking for a talented and committed individual to join them on their journey of success and be part of the major development of their fashion division.

The right candidate will be able to drive growth for the company through their own initiative, as well as by collaborating with executive teams on the strategies for action.

Responsibilities:

  • Working to lease specialized storage space for fashion pieces and other collectibles to clients through lead generation, networking, tours, and meetings.
  • Creating, organizing, and carrying out new sales, services, and project-based outreach efforts.
  • Oversee the drive to increase the company's clientele in New York and elsewhere.
  • Devise sales proposals and other marketing materials for potential clients, while building and improving a database of qualified leads; regularly tracking and reporting leasing developments.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives, such as local marketing opportunities, working with members of the business development and marketing teams to achieve targets.
  • Follow all company guidelines, rules, and business conduct norms.

Requirements:

  • Driven professional, with proven business acumen, extensive expertise, and knowledge of effective sales and marketing strategies.
  • Proactive and solutions-focused and possessing strong coaching and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Capacity for facilitating discussions, guiding meetings, and providing innovative solutions.
  • A natural at building relationships with people and prospecting for leads with a specific audience.
  • A bachelor's degree, or its equivalent, in a relevant discipline is required.
  • Strong knowledge of the fashion industry is an asset, but experience in the luxury sector or with premium service providers is essential.
