Business Solutions Architect/ Analyst

Alchemy are currently partnering with a global technology firm who are looking to recruit a Business Solution Architect/ Analyst to be based onsite a client site in Krakow, Poland.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • As a technical lead and business solution analyst you are a key contributor to application development initiatives that require team members mastering a large and heterogeneous set of application development competencies, and able to leverage them all to swiftly deliver IT solutions to the business. 
  • You develop effective relationships and act as a technology partner for internal stakeholders such as Product Owners and Business Analysts.
  • You know the organization’s business services, business processes and you know the internal technical environment and how it is operated. You act as a liaison between the IT development teams and business units for the development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems to the satisfaction of the business unit/division. 
  • You evaluate requests for new applications and identify systems requirements and evaluate requests for new IT developments and evolving business requirements. You produce initial cost estimations. 
  • You analyze business and technical requirements, produce high level design. You are hands on to develop programs and perform technical setup yourself.
  • You are capable to code, test, debug, document, implement and maintain software applications.
  • You coordinate technical delivery, remove blockers and communicate on progress and challenges on the implementation progress.
  • You have a good knowledge of the application development techniques and best practices allowing to swiftly deliver IT solutions to the business (e.g. agile development, prototyping, …).
  • You are able to coach or mentor less senior professionals. 
Qualifications:
  • You have 5 to 10 years of experience in a development/design/technical discipline working directly with software development teams.
  • You have a sound knowledge of the organization’s business services, processes and associated systems, including the systems generating settlement & holdings, securities reference and parties data. You have or can build business experience in the data & data models of the various domains and their source at a high level, and the right network to pull the necessary info for the detailed level.
  • You have strong analytical skills and can break down complex problems and develop solutions.
  • You are a team player who shares knowledge and expertise with others.
  • You demonstrate critical thinking and attention to details.
  • You are flexible and adapt seamlessly to changing environment.
  • You have excellent communication skills both at various levels of the organization and with different types of stakeholders. 
  • You have proven organizational and project delivery skills along with leadership capabilities to get things done.
