Facilities Manager

Job Description

Alchemy is partnering with an established international art gallery looking for a Facilities Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of a busy thriving art gallery in New York. 

Key responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the general maintenance of the gallery and office
  • Manage logistics around gallery events, ensuring they run smoothly for all guests and staff alike 
  • Overseeing any necessary day-to-day repairs
  • Co-operate with the in-house IT team being the key contact and link between all staff
  • Ensure all on-site projects run smoothly: e.g. installations, construction, exhibition de-installations etc.
  • Responsible for the hire of external contractors and supply orders
Key Requirements:
  • Excellent administrative and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and work ethic
  • Experience with working at a gallery or similar art institution
  • Great attention to detail
  • Relevant university degree
