International Relocation Coordinator

Alchemy has an exciting new opportunity available to join our client a Global Relocation and Moving company in Miami, FL.

Our client is looking for an experienced International Relocation, Household Goods Move Coordinator to join their moving and relocation services function.

This position will manage the door to door coordination of services, for corporate relocations.

Key duties of the International Moving and Relocation Coordinator position:

  • Managing and coordinating the end to end process of international moves and relocations
  • Managing a caseload of relocating assignee, delivering excellent customer service support throughout their moves
  • Advising customers on the international relocation process, keeping them updated throughout 
  • Communicating with clients, and partnering with third party providers such as shipping and freight forwarding vendors 
  • Coordinating the door to door shipping process of personal effects including ensuring international shipping customs requirements and restrictions are adhered to
  • Notifying clients and assignees on the status of their household goods shipment departure and arrival
  • Providing ongoing support and assistance to customers and clients

Key skills required:

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of moving and relocation services
  • Excellent customer services skills and prior customer service experience 
  • Experience coordinating international household goods moves, managing the shipping and relocation processes
  • Knowledge of freight forwarding, import and export for move management
  • Great time management and organisation skills
