Logistics Manager

Job Description

Our Client a leading name within the Moving industry is looking for a Logistics Manager to join a already well established team based in Orlando.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform manager and administrative responsibilities for the assigned departments. 

  • Direct and integrate department activities to meet production requirements consistent with quality standards within budgetary constraints and improving the utilization of people, equipment and processes.

  • Evaluate and analyze process data from FF&E logistics, process control systems and management information systems to identify trends impacting safety, quality and efficiency and to initiate actions to tackle root cause problems.

  • Coordinate with Production Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Purchasing, funding request and keep FF&E logistics at the heart of what you do.

  • Participate on various Company project teams to analyze and develop strategies, recommendations for threats and opportunities within business operations.

  • Develop, motivate and evaluate the performance of FF&E logistics department personnel.

  • Promote cooperative labor management relations through effective communications and problem solving.

  • Assist with FF&E Logistics, developing, implementing and managing strategic plans to gain productivity improvements, maximize assets and improve processes and programs to achieve targeted business initiatives.


Requirements:

  • Experience in FF&E logistics, purchasing, and/or project management.

  • Knowledge of FF&E warehousing, freight brokerage, and/or Install.

  • Problem Solving, Organized,  Attention to Detail, Communication, Leadership and Dependable.
