We are partnering with a leading logistics company seeking an Freight Coordinator to join their growing team in Houston, Texas.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with Cargo tracking and customer service

• Handling Ocean import and export FCL and LCL containers

• Booking trucking and drayage

• Responsible for warehousing

• Handling ocean carriers

• Working with international agents with shipping documentation

• Responsible for Import and export customs processes

• Coordinating foreign shipments with international partners

• Experience with terminal operations

• Obtaining rates and providing quotes to agents and clients

• Accounting for general shipments

• Land transportation in the United States

• Negotiating rates with a variety of vendors

• Responsible for Export packaging and crating

• Providing documentation for Shipping

• Airfreight experience

Requirements:

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Experience in international freight forwarding

• Excellent communication skills

• Experience in Imports and Exports

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
