Alchemy are working with a large Moving and Relocation Company who specialize in HHG, Commercial and Military moves as well as logistics, Our client is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join their moving team based in Seattle, WA.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the warehouse's daily operations.
  • Planning and dispatch for the moving team's short- and long-haul trips.
  • Recruiting and educating new movers.
  • Assist consumers with problems, grievances, and payments all throughout the moving process.
  • During the busiest moving season, assist with local and long-distance activities.
  • Quality assurance.
  • Hiring of drivers.
  • Background checks for employees.
  • Checking on job sites to make sure everything is running smoothly.
  • Facilitate tracking, availability, inspections, and maintenance of equipment.

Experience Required:
  • Previous experience working as a operations manager within the moving services sector.
  • Strategic thinker and planner
  • Strong man management skills.
  • Highly organised.
  • Solid IT skills.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
