Pricing Analyst, Household Goods Moving

 Alchemy has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Household Goods Moving, Pricing Analyst to join a globally renowned Relocation service provider.
This Household Goods Moving Pricing Analyst position requires excellent knowledge of pricing, rates and costing for household goods moving shipments.

  • To oversee the coordination of the Household Goods moves, whilst liaising with suppliers and ensuring competitive rates in relation to quotations.
  • You will also be involved in proposal requests and will support the relocation team. 
  • This opportunity offers a hybrid working structure, 1 day in office and 4 days remote.
Duties include
  • Maintaining relationships with household goods moving providers to keep them engaged in the support of moving services to provide a high-level customer and client experience 
  • Staying up to date with rates and pricing to always ensure maximum opportunity for gross profit for each relocation
  • Support Relocation and Moving department Managers in maintaining and updating pricing models, as well as identifying price improvement opportunities and promoting innovative solutions using the resources at their disposal
  • Assist in the creation and development of pricing tools and processes to continuously enhance data quality and data management
  • Respond to RFPs in a timely and accurate manner
  • Document and assess costing/pricing tools and processes and keep them up to date 
  • Encourage pricing innovation within the moving and relocation departments
  • Track key performance indicators along the launch ready timeline and communicate them consistently and effectively, highlighting areas of success and risk
  • Ensure that all processes and procedures are properly documented and implemented
  • Recognise obstacles and possibilities for enhanced performance
  • Acting as a mediator in any audit non-compliance issues
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in Household Goods Moving and Relocation in a Pricing roles 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Strong technical skills, including CRM software and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills, and administration skills with high detailed attention 
  • Ability to negotiate with vendors and also built business relationships
  • Sound knowledge of costing, rates and pricing for relocation and moving services
