Job Description
Alchemy is partnering with one of the largest professional service firms in the world to search for a Product Data Manager to join their Revenue GPS performance team in London. Their revenue GPS solution is a worldwide quarterly institutional equity performance survey that provides useful market and positioning insights to aid account management and administration of a firm's institutional equities platform.
Responsibilities:
- Ownership of the Revenue GPS product's data technique.
- Managing partnerships with data sourcing teams on behalf of external clients.
- Leading the improvement of data breakdowns in data submissions from our customers.
- Data integrity, governance, and authenticity are all within your control.
- Oversight of the team's data proofreading and validation procedures.
- Answering data-related questions from both within and outside the company.
- Managing the universe of institutions covered by the Revenue GPS product, including doing research to identify modifications and new coverage additions.
- Account mapping procedures, which match the information of institutions received from our customers to our institutional coverage, are under my supervision.
- Establishing data needs and procedures for new product buildouts is one of my responsibilities.
- Providing technical guidance and data analysis to client-facing consultants.
- Ensure that the business is working within all legal compliance framework.
Skills:
- Proven project management, business management, or data governance expertise is required.
- Data management and technological functions knowledge and expertise.
- Experience working for a bank/broker dealer or a consulting business with a sell-side client.
- Strong knowledge of stocks, particularly the complexities of payment dynamics.
- Ability to communicate with colleagues and clients at all levels in a peer-like way and accomplish objectives without direct control over resources (interpersonal leadership, partnership, and influencing abilities).
- Independent, well-organized, self-motivated, and willing to work as part of a team.
- The ability to think through and describe work procedures in a thorough and deliberate way.
- Excellent judgement; understands when to bring complicated concerns to the attention of upper management.
- Ability to work collaboratively or independently in a fast-paced workplace as dictated by dynamic projects and workload.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, both verbally and in writing.
