Removal Sales Executive

Job Description

We are working with one of the UK’s top companies in the removal and storage sector, they are looking for an experienced Removal Sales Executive based in Edinburgh.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Make a daily agenda.
  • Respond to client sales inquiries.
  • Inspect their customer's premises and determine the quantity of items to be removed.
  • Successfully sell the company’s products and services.
  • Arrange clients removals.
  • Construct sales quotations based on data from the company's costing system.
  • Relay removal estimates to customers.
  • Turn quotes into sales.
  • Reach out to prospective clients.
  • As needed, make recommendations to the company on the best vehicles and crews to use for each removal.
  • Inform removal crews of special requirements as needed.
  • When unique removals are needed, supervise them.
  • Assist in the growth and upkeep of strong labour and client relations.
  • Reach managements sales objectives.
  • Liaise with administrative support personnel, helping as needed.
  • Provide insurance sales advice to customers.
  • Claims and complaints should be investigated and reported on.
  • In their absence, perform some of the manager's responsibilities as requested.
  • Schedule removals and split loads as needed.

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous removals experience is required.
  • Established sales background.
  • Must be able to confidently communicate with clients and candidates.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and administration skills.
  • A friendly and approachable manner.
